MyHeritage is a genealogy website, allowing you to access decades-old records and family trees. The company was founded in 2003 by Gilad Japhet. You can create an account on MyHeritage by using your Facebook/Google accounts or signing up with an email. If you choose to sign up with an email, you will need to enter your gender, first name, last name, email address, year of birth, your father’s first and last name, and your mother’s first and last name. You will be able to create a family tree by adding names, dates, photos, and stories that can be shared with your family. You will be able to learn a lot about your ancestors by obtaining birth and death records. You can view other family trees that have been created by people in your family. MyHeritage DNA allows you to take a simple DNA test and discover your past. You can find DNA matches and gain valuable health insights with 27 detailed reports.
There is a 14-day free trial offered to new members. The Basic plan is free and allows you to create a family tree with up to 250 people. The Premium plan is $129 per year. The Premium Plus plan is $209 per year. If you would like access to all historical records, the Data plan is $189 per year. The Ultimate Package which includes unlimited everything is $299 per year.
