Classmates is a social networking website. It was founded in 1995 by Randy Conrads. The parent company is H.I.G. Capital. The parent company is based in Miami, Florida. With Classmates, you can search for old classmates and reconnect with them on the website. The website features schools located in the United States as well as Canada. When you register on Classmates, you will be asked to enter the high school that you attended. You will be able to set up a profile. Your profile will include information about yourself, as well as photos and memories that you may have made at the school(s). Once you have completely set up a profile and account, you can browse alumni from your high school. You can also add the college that you attended and search alumni from that college as well. You are able to view other members’ profiles and photos and connect with them by messaging them. There is also a section on the website that includes high school and college reunion information. You can post-reunion details if you plan to host, or you can RSVP to a reunion hosted by someone else in your graduating class. There are two plans available on Classmates: Basic and Classmates Plus. With a free basic membership, you can see your full class list, view profiles and photos, search friends by maiden name, and browse 300,000 yearbooks. With Classmates Plus, you can see who visited your profile, see who remembered you, send classmates email, save on yearbook reprints, see the full class list, visit profiles and view photos, search friends by maiden name, and browse 300,000 yearbooks. Classmates Plus starts at $2.50 per month. If you would like to cancel Classmates, follow the cancellation instructions below.

Get together the following account information:

• First Name
• Last Name
• Last 4 Digits of Card
• E-mail Address on account
• The Full name of the High School you attended
• The Year That You Graduated from High School
• The City and State or Province of your High School.

Follow these steps:

1. Use your internet browser to visit http://www.classmates.com/
2. Hit the link that says the button that says ‘SIGN IN’
3. You’ll need to login with this info: email and password
4. Go up the page to find the gear icon
5. Hit the link that says the gear icon
6. Hit the link that says “Account”
7. Hit the link that says “Email subscriptions”
8. Hit the link that says each box on the page and select “unsubscribe”
9. Go up the page to find “Personal Information”
10. Hit the link that says “Personal information”
11. Hit the link that says the box next to “Show my information” to uncheck it
12. Go up the page to find “Billing”
13. Hit the link that says “Billing”
14. Go down the page to find “Account information”
15. Hit the link that says “Turn off automatic renewal”
16. Hit the link that says “yes” to confirm
17. Go down the page to find the credit card information section
18. Hit the link that says “Delete credit card”

Follow these steps:

1. Contact them by calling 206-301-5700
2. Choose phone menu option 1
3. Inform them that you are contacting them to cancel
4. So that they can locate your account, provide the information they ask for
5. Be sure to ask for and document the date of your final charge
6. Ask that you be refunded
7. Ask for documentation that you contacted them
8. As usual, just in case, keep the proof that you’ve cancelled handy.
