How to delete or cancel kik

Kik is a messaging app that users can text, send and receive pictures, video sharing, and etc. Kik’s parent company is Tengelmann Group. Kik was founded on October 19, 2010 in Canada by a group of college students that attended the University of Waterloo at the time. The group of students wanted a new communication system when Blackberry (was extremely popular at that time) had a different route of communication. However, Ted Livingston is the main founder and CEO of Kik. Kik quickly was on the rise to the point that Twitter gave Kik a standing ovation for the rapid growth of users. Blackberry didn’t approve of that and Kik received multiple lawsuits from Blackberry. There was a settlement agreement and Kik was able to secure help and funding elsewhere.

The Kik app is common in English countries such as Canada, the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Australia, and etc. Other countries can use the Kik app, but it’s more favored in English-speaking countries. However, recently the Kik app is favored in the United States and Canada targeted to adolescents and young adult users. The yearly revenue is roughly 10 million dollars. The Kik app won awards and recognition throughout the years like in October 2014 the Kik app received the Smarties awards from the Mobile Marketing Association. Ted Livingston received his own recognition as well like in October 2016 Toronto Life (a magazine company) gave him Toronto’s most brilliant tech innovator for Kik.

The Kik app is free to use. It’s available for Apple and Android users. Once someone downloaded the app, he or she must create an account to gain access to the app. The Kik app works with Wi-Fi connections or internet service data plans. Over the years Kik created ways to help them stay relevant such as created multiple theme colors that users can choose from. Also, the Kik app will be offering crypto-currency called Kin.
