Shape Magazine is a fitness magazine. The magazine was started in 1981 by Weider Publications. The founder was Christine MacIntyre, who was a pioneer in Women’s Fitness. The owner of the magazine is Meredith, which is one of the most popular publishing companies in North America. Meredith has owned the magazine since 2015. Shape has over 1.5 million subscribers. The magazine publishes 10 issues per year. Shape Magazine is currently available in only English. The headquarters are based in Woodland Hills, CA. The Editor is Elizabeth Goodman Artis. There is a German version of Shape Magazine, which is available in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
