Plated is a recipe and ingredient meal kit delivery service based in the USA. Plated was founded in 2012 by Josh Hix and Nick Taranto but has since been acquired by the grocery chain Albertson’s in 2017. As of April 2018, Plated meal kit began to be sold in some Albertson’s stores. Meal kits can be delivered starting with 2 kits per week up to 4 kits per week depending on the member’s preferences and include ingredients as well as recipes for the member to cook at home. Members can choose from the 20 different recipes available each week that have been curated by the Plated chefs team. Members may also choose to adjust their delivery day each week to meet their schedule.
Plated members may choose 2,3, or 4 servings per meal, and 2,3, or 4 nights per week to receive meals. Kits that include 2 servings per meal are priced at $11.95 per serving, for prices from $47.80 per week for 2 nights, $71.70 per week for 3 nights, or $95.60 per week for 4 nights. 3 serving plans are $9.95 per serving, weekly prices are $59.70 per week for 2 nights of 3 servings, $89.55 per week for 3 nights, or $119.40 per week for 4 nights. 4 serving plans are available for $9.95 per serving, weekly prices for 4 serving plans are $79.60 for 2 nights, $119.40 for 3 nights, or $159.20 for 4 nights.
All plans come with a discounted rate on the first weekly delivery, and all may be cancelled at any time. All plans also automatically renew and ship each week unless skipped manually or cancelled. The information below will help you cancel a Plated subscription.
