Since 2012, HotPads has been owned by Zillow. Zillow is one of the largest real estate marketplaces. Currently, the HotPads office is included within the Zillow headquarters. On HotPads, you can find over 4 million for-sale properties and over 500,000 rental properties included on this website, mostly in the larger cities. HotPads is currently only available in English and features properties within the United States (all 50 states) and Canada.
HotPads currently has properties that are for sale and rent. When you go on the website, you can search for properties by location. You can search with the city and state and specify your price range and how many bedrooms and bathrooms you allow. You are also able to search for properties that allow pets. Once you have put in your search criteria and viewed the available properties. You can choose between viewing them in a map view or a list. Once you found a listing that you like, you can save the listing so that you can view it at a later time. You do not need an account to search for properties, but to save the property, you can create an account. You can create an account with your email address or use your Facebook or Google accounts. When you have an account, you can see properties that you have saved, get alerts for new properties, edit your profile, and change your notification preferences.
