Equifax is a consumer credit reporting agency. Along with Experian and TransUnion, Equifax is a member of the “big three”, the three largest credit reporting agencies. Equifax was originally founded in 1889 by Guy and Cator Woolford. The individual plan includes combined monitoring of the customer’s credit score from all three bureaus, fraud alerts, monitoring of suspicious websites for your personal information, up to 1 million dollars in identity theft protection, and assistance canceling and replacing credit cards and identification in case of a lost or stolen wallet. This plan is available for $19.95 per month. A family plan is also available with the same features along with the ability to add a second adult and monitor the information of up to 4 children, also for $19.95 per month. Both plans automatically renew and bill every 30 days until canceled. There is no minimum commitment but refunds are not typically available if you cancel the plan before the end of the billing period.
