Classpass was founded in 2013 by Payal Kadakia and Mary Biggins in New York City. Classpass provides a monthly subscription service that gives its members access to yoga, strength training, barre, martial arts, pilates, boxing, and indoor cycling classes as well as the ability to use participating health clubs. Classpass has agreements with 15,000 clubs in 11 countries around the world that members may access as part of their subscription. As of 2017, Classpass employed some 300 people and was valued at 470 million dollars. As of March 2018, Classpass also began offering access to live-streamed fitness classes as a subscription service. Pricing for a Classpass membership varies by location. However, within the USA there are three tiers of membership. A $29.00 per month membership allows the member access to 15 credits. Depending on the cost of classes in your area these credits will provide you with the ability to attend an average of 3-5 classes per month. A $49.00 membership provides 27 credits which can be used to book between 6 and 9 classes on average. Finally, a $79.00 membership will provide 45 credits to redeem for an average of 10-16 classes per month. A free 1-month trial is also offered which provides 22 credits for an average of 4-6 classes. The trial membership will convert to the service level chosen at signup after the first month if not cancelled during the trial. All memberships also include the ability to stream classes at home and will automatically renew each month until cancelled by the member. Classpass has no minimum term agreement and the member may cancel their membership at any time. Refunds may or may not be available for unused credits remaining on the account. 3. Use your internet browser to visit https://classpass.com/login/settings/membership
4. Hit the link that says “Membership Status”
5. Hit the link that says “Cancel Membership”
6. As usual, just in case, keep the proof that you’ve cancelled handy.
